The Purple Carrot Food Truck
The Purple Carrot Food Truck launched in 2011 as Michigan's First Farm to Truck food stand. Our goal wasto serve innovative, creative and fresh cuisine by utilizing the abundance of flavors Michigan has to offer. We worked directly with the farmers who grow the food and buy it when it is ripe and at its peak to be served, because food is only as good as the ingredients you start with. Our mission could be summed up by our tag line: Eat Fresh. Eat Local.
Closure
The Purple Carrot Truck ceased operation in 2020, but many of the recipes and flavors can be found at our Red Haven pop-up dinners and special events! The vehicle itself was sold to The People's Kitchen to become the "Street Eats" truck. We're excited to see what they do with it!
